Position Overview
The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at UC Irvine invites highly motivated applicants for a postdoctoral scholar position in the Ardoña lab. This scholar will develop and investigate energy-transporting biomolecular assemblies within cellular or physiologically relevant environments.

Position Description
The position is suited for candidates interested in working at the intersection of chemistry engineering, and biophysics. The ideal applicant should have experience in the following areas:

  • organic material synthesis and characterization
  • nanostructure elucidation
  • bioelectronic devices
  • cell culture techniques

Good organization, communication and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting are essential. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering, materials science, biomedical engineering, chemistry or other relevant field.
