Roadmap to an M.S. Degree

Important Deadlines:
- The following form must be submitted to the Graduate Coordinator by the end of your first quarter:
- M.S. Plan of Study
*As a reminder, only upper division undergraduate courses (100-189) have the potential to count toward your M.S. degree requirements so students should check with the appropriate Graduate Advisor for approval. Lower division courses (1-89) cannot be applied to your graduate degree. List of Courses that are not acceptable toward M.S. degree requirements
*Quick note: Although the route is stated as Comprehensive Exam, students are now not required to take an actual comprehensive exam. Instead, students in the Comprehensive Exam route are now required to take the EECS 294 (1 unit) course in place of an exam.
- The following forms must be submitted to the Graduate Coordinator during the quarter before you expect to finish your degree:
