In light of the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon competition, four Orange County universities join forces and compete to design a net-zero-energy house inspired by the California state flower. Students work diligently and relentlessly to create a drought-resistant structure that houses many luxurious accommodations, while discovering methods to improve California residents’ everyday style of living.
